Greetings Agents!,

The time has come, it’s been over 2 years since we began thinking about Satellite Reign, and almost 2 years to the day since we moved into an office and began work on the game in earnest.  And it’s all thanks to you—our backers.  We literally couldn’t have done it without everyone who had backed and supported us, no matter how big or small your contribution, every little bit counted.

We’ve poured our hearts and souls into this game, and we hope you enjoy what our small studio has put together for you. We started off taking inspiration from a classic series but our goal was always to surpass it and evolve the criminally neglected genre. We hope we’ve done that for you all.

The Future

We have a lot of ideas for additional features and content that was unfortunately didn’t make it into the game’s initial release.  We will continue to support Satellite Reign with future updates and bug fixes for the foreseeable future.

Elite Backer Skins and In-game Support Team Rewards

While we were hoping to have both the In-game Support Team and Elite Backer Skins on Steam before release, we unfortunately haven’t received our keys for the Support Team from Steam yet.  However, if you’re a backer at the appropriate tiers, you will have already received an email from BackerKit which will give you your Steam Key for the Elite Backer Skins and a manual installed option for both for those who don’t want to wait for the In-Game Support Team reward.

Localisation

Though we mentioned it in previous updates, just to reiterate, Localisation has unfortunately been delayed and will be made available in the weeks after launch. We apologize again for the inconvenience to those affected.

Physical Rewards

A lot of people have been asking about physical rewards like T-shirts, Boxed copies etc.  To streamline distribution of the rewards, we want to try and bundle all rewards together where ever possible.  We also wanted to make sure the version of the game printed to discs has all of the localisation options and any potential bug fixes that may arise after launch. With that in mind, physical rewards will probably be a month or two away, once localisation and the game is locked down.
